Extra Credit

Here are a few topics for extra credit that have been mentioned in class. These are only a few. I will accept almost any idea for extra credit. Just present your idea for me...I could share your idea by adding it to this page for others to use. Here are just a few ideas:

     1.        Name U.S. Territories and Provinces - When reviewing continents and bodies of water in class, we mentioned that Puerto Rico is a territory of the U.S. It is not a state. What are the other areas around the world that are U.S. territories or provinces. Extra credit points can vary depending on how you present these lands. Think about marking all U.S. territories and provinces on a world map!

2.        New U.S. Flag - When learning about continents, we learned    that a U.S. territory, Puerto Rico, is considering being annexed as the 51st state of the U.S. What could the U.S. flag look like should Puerto Rico become the 51st state?
